Serra do Salitre - Yara Galvani Joint Venture

Yara Galvani is building a whole new Mine Industrial Complex in Serra do Salitre, Minas Gerais State, Brazil. Local igneous rock will be reacted to produce 300 ktP2O5y of Phosphoric Acid (and MAP).
Brazilian phosphate industry was lacking big investment since last decade.
Recently Itafos restartup an Mine and SSP (with H2SO4) Complex in Arraias-Campos Belos, Tocantins State (formerly MbAC).
And Yara and Mosaic (that took the Vale Fertilizantes also recently sold business) are investing in Brazil, as agriculture still maintain the pace in a meager economic environment in the giant of South America.
We wish that good news will catalyze a new virtuous cycle to come soon.
